I have been on a fitness journey for some time now. At the age of 32, I decided to become a personal trainer after participating in the Race for Life and discovering my love for running and training.

Prior to that, I had never set foot in a gym, but once I started working in one, I quickly found that I enjoyed interacting with people and creating basic programs. I began teaching circuits, bootcamp, boxercise, spin, and one-to-one training,
which is where my passion for personal training and fitness blossomed.

Over the years, I have participated in many sporting events, including tough mudders and half marathons, and I even completed the Brighton marathon. In 2019, I joined CrossFit Southampton, which was a turning point for me. It helped me gain confidence in myself and my training, which ultimately led me to start my own business called Nutter Fitness during the lockdown of 2020.

Watching people come to my private gym, not knowing much about fitness or themselves, and seeing them thrive in their newfound confidence brings me immense joy.
It's fulfilling to see people change for the better through my training, and I am grateful to be a part of their journey.

Success Stories

I assisted a client in rehabilitating after undergoing ankle replacement surgery. Through strengthening weak areas, I was able to realign their posture.

During a session with a client, I discovered a weakness in their body structure. This weakness was preventing them from properly lifting weights without risking injury.

Together, we worked on adjusting their movements to allow them to safely and effectively move the weight.

I had a regular boot camp client that was a keen runner but had never run further than a 5k.

After a consultation and long discussion about her running techniques and realistic availability for training I put together a running plan for her to follow to get her ready for a 10k run.

This was so successful by sticking to the plan and a few check ins to make sure everything was going well she smashed her target time and continued with a further plan to achieve a successful 10 mile run later that year.
